About The Position

This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor and is responsible for the fulfillment of all assigned duties. The Assembly Flare Lead performs duties associated with all areas of the assembly department and employees assigned to the shift. Key areas of responsibility include general efficiency, general quality, decision-making priority in assembly, issuing paint, gloves, and safety equipment, assigning tasks to assemblers, correctly labeling products, and operating in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions. Additional duties may be assigned that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certification preferred.
• Supervisor experience required.
• One year of on-the-job experience in assembly required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office/MRP System.
• Ability to obtain JOST International Forklift Certification and Low-lift Pallet Truck Certification.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and JOST company policies and procedures.
