The Assembly BIW Engineering Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of direct and indirect reports, daily support of production and maintenance, and oversight of systems performance and quality. This role involves problem-solving, developing and implementing corrective actions, and creating improvement projects to increase JPH and quality. The manager will track and present performance metrics, oversee welding system parameters, manage programmable device backups, and ensure standards assurance for new model/systems design, build, installation, and preproduction. Key responsibilities include providing an atmosphere of accountability through task and project ownership to meet timing requirements.
