About The Position

ACTIA Corporation has been manufacturing quality vehicle electronics and diagnostic equipment for growing markets such as Off-Highway, Bus & Coach, Truck & Fleet, Marine and Specialty Vehicles for over 30 years. ACTIA Group is an international group based in Toulouse, France. We are currently looking for an Assembly Associate to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The Assembly Associate is responsible for being a part of the production team who builds assemblies according to written and verbal instructions as per required specifications. Must be a quality focused and a team player.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • Detail orientated
  • Experience with electronics assembly a plus
  • Knowledge of soldering
  • Knowledge of use in basic hand tools and measuring devices
  • Ability to read CAD drawings (aka: Blueprints)
  • Knowledge of basic measuring equipment
  • Quality Focus - Determined to stay focused on the quality of each and every deliverable by ensuring consistency and adherence to high standards, as well as paying close attention to even the minutest details involved.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles ACTIA product
  • Cleans, organizes and maintains work area
  • Reads and comprehends CAD drawings (aka: Blueprints)
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Collaborates with other members of the gauge team
  • Supports manufacturing activities in other departments, including proper documentation
  • Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirements
  • Ensure ISO procedures are followed
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
