About The Position

Collins Aerospace is currently looking for an Assembler for its C-Series (A220) nacelle integration unit in Mirabel Quebec. Work Shift: Monday - Friday (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm). This role involves performing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical assembly of aircraft engine components, including fan cowls, thrust reversers, and inlets. The assembler will be responsible for installing and removing components, testing their connectivity and functionality, and performing adjustments, torquing, and sealing of aircraft systems. Reading and interpreting assembly drawings is also a key part of the job, along with performing any other assigned duties. Requirements

  • Diploma in aircraft maintenance technology, or DEP in aircraft mechanical assembly, or equivalent.
  • Must be bilingual, able to read and write in English and French.
  • This position requires communicating orally and in writing with engineering teams and customers located in the United States.
  • Knowledge of English (verbal and written) is required for the tasks related to the production engineer position.
  • Knowledge of English is necessary for the performance of the tasks due to its highly technical nature.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, hydraulic and mechanical assembly of aircraft engine components including fan cowls, thrust reversers and inlets.
  • Install and remove components from engines.
  • Test component connectivity and functionality.
  • Perform rigging, torquing and sealing of aircraft systems.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
