Assemblers (Electronics)
About The Position
Solid State Devices, Inc. (SSDI) is seeking motivated Assemblers to join their dynamic team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for mechanically inspecting and cleaning components. This position is full-time and requires working onsite at their facility. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available. SSDI has been a pioneer in semiconductor manufacturing for over 50 years and has earned a reputation for setting the highest standards of reliability and performance. SSDI's high power and high voltage semiconductors and electronic systems meet the critical needs of many Aerospace and Defense applications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- Basic math skills required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 6-months experience in a relevant position is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Mechanical inspection and cleaning of components to ensure they are free of debris, properly aligned, and securely soldered
- Ensure subassemblies are properly handled
- Use of manufacturing hand tools (soldering iron, pliers, drills, etc.)
- Proficient in microscope operation
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Follow standardized procedures
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
