Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without assistance
  • Frequently required to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must use hands and fingers for machine operation, data entry, lifting and/or carrying
  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
  • Proficiency in Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is desired.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy industrial assembly
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Experience using gauges such as micrometers and calipers
  • Experience using hydraulic & pneumatic presses, torque guns, and hoists
  • Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate power wheel assembly centers
  • Use and maintain electric hand tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets
  • Read and understand gauges and other measuring devices
  • Accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
