About The Position

This is a full-time Assembler position on Shift 2, located in Ft. Worth, TX. The role involves assembling and testing mechanical products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery goals. The assembler will work on-site on the 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday) after an initial training period on 1st shift. The work directly supports production leads, quality, and downstream assembly teams. Accuracy and adherence to processes contribute to lean productivity improvements across the shop floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar production role
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Comfortable using common hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment
• Experience with precision measurements and documenting torque values
• Able to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 25 lbs
• Willingness to train on 1st shift for at least two months before transitioning to 2nd shift

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aerospace or other regulated/ISO environments
• Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles
• Experience with surface finishing or painting processes

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment
• Record test results and document data using basic electrical equipment and flow meters
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, and test specifications to produce assemblies that meet product requirements
• Assemble, test, and inspect components to customer and industry standards
• Perform touch-up or full-surface painting and part cleaning as required
• Participate in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities
• Maintain a safe, FOD-free work area and ensure equipment calibration per schedule
