About The Position
The Assembler is focused on actively assisting in the manufacturing and assembly process of our windows and reports to the Department Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has good communication skills, follow instructions well, and has good attention to detail. A vital member of the Production, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively read a tape measure to 1/32”
- Ability to read written instructions and take verbal instructions
- Stand and walk for the majority of the work shift on concrete surfaces or ergonomic mats.
- Walk while carrying materials using both hands.
- Frequently push, pull, reach, grip, and pinch objects.
- Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and rotate the neck.
- Occasionally climb steps, balance, kneel, and squat.
- Maintain near and far visual acuity to perform work safely and accurately.
- Frequently lift and carry items up to 50 pounds while walking.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Fabricating and assembling architectural aluminum products with various tools and machinery
- Usage of drill guns and hand tools
- Inspecting aluminum for various quality flaws
- Packing and lifting frames
