Assembler - 1st Shift

About The Position

The Assembler performs manual duties involving placement of parts on an assembly line, checking defined machine specifications, and other related functions. The role follows work instructions for the assigned area and may require flexibility to perform non-standard work as directed by the floor leader. Assemblers are trained to work at multiple stations or work areas and must complete training milestones and protocols. The position requires maintaining a safe and clean work environment and complying with safety rules.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
Meet job standards for visual ability, speaking, and hearing in a manufacturing environment.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and clean working environment and comply with safety rules.
Execute tasks according to work instructions posted in the assigned work area (OMS document).
Perform non-standard work as directed by the floor leader.
Place component parts on the assembly line as required by the OMS (Operations Method Sheet).
Achieve training milestones and complete training protocols.
Acquire knowledge and perform work at multiple assigned work stations or work areas.
Check defined machine specifications on the assembly line or perform related functions.
