About The Position

The Assembler role is focused on building doors and frames and reports to the Production Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Fabrication Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Requirements

  • Experience using power tools, machinery, and reading a tape measure (to 1/16”).
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and perform basic math.
  • Effectively multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with peers and management; flexible to work varied schedules and cross-train as needed.
  • An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Perform general fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools.
  • Drill holes and prepare materials according to work orders, fabrication sheets, and schedules.
  • Measure workpiece dimensions and conduct quality inspections to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure parts meet specifications by following prints, worksheets, and shop drawings while completing tasks with minimal supervision.
