About The Position

Assemblers perform various tasks at Wabash that vary from location to location. Responsibilities can range from installing and assembling subassemblies and component parts to operating rivet punchers, installing decals, and much more.

Requirements

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Basic reading /writing/ & verbal skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience and education are great to come into this position with, however, it’s not required, here at Wabash, we give you the training to become comfortable in any Assembler position.
Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you’ll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.

Responsibilities

Own and help improve Safety, Quality, and Delivery performance.
Keeping their work area free of any potential work hazards.
Caulking materials.
Measuring and cutting material.
Installing rivets.
Operating heavy machinery.
Installing truck bed flooring.
Following decal templates/blueprints.
Install signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps and other associated parts.
Performs additional work as assigned by the Supervisor or Team leader, which may require flexing into another department.
Wear approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc.
Complete assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices, including individual safety, the safety of co-workers, and the safe use of equipment.
