Requirements

• High school diploma / GED required
• Ability to follow standard work including specific written instructions and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic and precise subassemblies
• Ability to use air-impact tools and other hand-held tools.
• Ability to use basic math.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Constant attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills, and good problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Assembly experience preferred.
• Candidates with electrical or mechanical trade school education may also be considered.
• Demonstrate the ability to understand mechanical drawings of assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Work on the assembly and sub-assembly of VacuFuse™.
• Work in a production environment and engage in continuous production activity.
• Meet requirements within time constraints.
• Use of simple material handling equipment, hand tools and air-impact tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches.
• Perform basic and precision subassemblies at various steps throughout the assembly process.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections using various simple gauges and measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and resistance meters.
• Packing of finished product into cardboard boxes for shipment.
