About The Position

U-Haul is hiring an Assembler to work on various parts of a production line, constructing trucks, trailers, and other equipment. This project-based position is expected to end when the assigned project or projects are complete. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation is $19.00 to $20.25 per hour; the posting also identifies $20.25 per hour.

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts and requires special safety precautions around moving parts, machinery, fumes, or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required. Physical work includes extended periods indoors and outdoors, remaining stationary, moving through work areas, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving at least 50 pounds with or without assistance. Applicants must supply steel-toed shoes or boots. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
