About The Position

ESPEC North America (ENA) is seeking an Assembler to join their Custom Department. This role involves the final assembly of environmental test chambers. The company offers a 4-day work week with potential for Friday overtime, no mandatory weekend work, a clean working environment, and opportunities for advancement. The working schedule is 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with some Friday overtime required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Computer skills, including use of tablet, required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
• Ability to read a tape measure required.
• Ability to read and comprehend multiple step instructions (in the English language), short correspondence, and memos.
• Regular physical attendance is required.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and color vision.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with hand tools preferred.
• 1 year of experience with industrial manufacturing preferred.
• On-site training will be provided for brazing duties.
• May also be required to perform lock out tag out on energized jobs and will need to understand lock out tag out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly of environmental test chambers.
• Use hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and knives daily.
• Perform basic pipe insulation.
• May perform brazing duties after on-site training.
• Bend and run conduit, and cut wire.
• Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Regular physical attendance is required.
• Understand and abide by the Guiding Principles.
• Perform other routine duties as assigned.
