About The Position

Completes assembly operations on any product in a safe manner consistent with established work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, process sheets, job cards, and work instructions and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with other employees on a regular basis.
  • Ability to measure and perform mathematical calculations.
  • Determine the quality of components or finished parts in accordance with quality standards.
  • Recommend corrective action to improve the quality of production and product in assigned area.
  • Work successfully in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Skills acquired to operate machines and equipment as necessary in Assembly.
  • Ability to perform visual, functional, and measurable checks of product quality per procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with TMM Assembly Supervisor and co-workers.
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company’s business demands.
  • Exposure to hazards of machine operations and irritants such as grease, lubricants, and coolant.
  • The area is dry with seasonal variations in temperature.
  • The noise level is 80-90.
  • Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, hair short or tied back.
  • This area requires normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception and peripheral vision of 180 degrees and no color deficiency.
  • Hearing protection is not required but is available.
  • Bending - Floor level
  • Stooping - 5% of time

  • Twisting - 90 degrees
  • Turning - 180 degrees

Responsibilities

  • Receive and understand daily assignments from the Assembly Supervisor – TMM or Designee.
  • Restock immediate workstation.
  • Put defective material in red pans designated as such, after consulting with the Assembly Supervisor – TMM or Designee.
  • Accurately record daily production.
  • Maintain work area in a cleared and orderly condition.
  • Follow established housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Maintain a good attendance record.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS.
  • Perform job functions in a manner that supports TriMark's mission, vision and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals.
