This opportunity is for our Electric Heat business. Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency in drilling and tapping holes.
• Experience attaching electrical components such as breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Familiarity with hydro testing procedures.
• Painting skills.
• Ability to install and wire thermostats and other options.
• Skills in fabricating bussing and soldering connections.
• Ability to test and adjust electrical components.
• Strong communication skills to discuss errors with supervision or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assemble all heater unit product codes and fabricate necessary components as required per work order, blue print, and engineering specification.
• Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
• Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
• Attaches breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Hydro test per specification.
• Paints product as necessary.
• Installs and wires Thermostats and other options.
• Fabricates bussing, and solders connections.
• Tests and adjusts electrical components.
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.
