About The Position

We are looking to fill roles that are Entry Level and Experienced! As an Assembler at Cleaveland Price you will be a part of our manufacturing team specializing in the production of electrical disconnect switches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components, ensuring product quality, and supporting efficient production operations.

  • Ability to safely use power tools and measuring devices
  • Willingness to learn
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • < 1 year of related industry/manufacturing/production experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effectively read a tape measure
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Communicate with discern.
  • Detect safety alarms that are audible and/or visual.
  • Requires concentration, accuracy, and focused mental effort while multi-tasking in a team environment.
  • Ability to wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE) required while on the shop floor or in other work area where mandated (i.e. steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and/or other applicable PPE).

Nice To Haves

  • Blueprint reading is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Operate hand and power tools

Responsibilities

  • Assemble disconnect switches and related components according to engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect parts and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Identify and report defective materials or components to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate production records within our internal electronic system.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Successfully obtain and maintain crane and fork truck certification in applicable departments.
