About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring ASSEMBLERS in Cedar Park, TX, for a stable weekday schedule with opportunities to grow. This is a full-time position with a compensation of $18.50 per hour. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with potential overtime requirements, including Saturdays, based on production needs.

Requirements

Manufacturing and assembly line experience is required.
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout a 10-12 hour shift.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions in English.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut wire to required lengths using precision tools.
Manually wind copper wire onto coils or other components.
Ensure proper tension and alignment during the winding process to prevent damage or malfunction.
Align, fit, and secure components using screws, bolts, clips, or welding and adhesive equipment.
Inspect finished assemblies and measure parts to verify they meet precise specifications and tolerances.
Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and compliant with safety rules.
