About The Position
The Assembler II position is responsible for performing complex and repetitive wiring of buckets and doors for feeding the main assembly line. This role ensures all wiring meets electrical specifications and standards, performs quality checks, and prepares finished products for installation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Must reside within a 50 - mile radius of Avery Creek, NC. Active - Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in wiring
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use power and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, internet, and related tools)
Responsibilities
- Wire bucket and door assemblies according to specifications and standards using tools such as wire strippers, crimpers and basic hand tools
- Execute complex wiring tasks using schematics, diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure all connections and crimps meet required specifications and standards
- Inspect completed work to verify electrical standards
- Follow and maintain production schedules to meet assembly line demand
- Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers to identify and escalate production issues promptly
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for self and others
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Cross train for other job functions as necessary
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
