About The Position

As a member of the team at Vapor Stone Rail Systems, you will be responsible for performing electro-mechanical production assembly work according to engineering drawings, product specifications and quality standards. Assembler is responsible for his/her own quality of work and must meet company and ISO standards. Must be safety conscious. Must be able to read assembly drawings. Must have mechanical skills. Must have advanced knowledge of the use of hand tools. Must be self-motivated with ability to work independently with no guidance. Must be able to follow written work instructions/procedures. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to acquire materials for specific tasks. Willingness to adapt to change. Must be able to complete task on time. Must be able to collaborate within a team and cross functionally. Must be able to interpret quality requirements. Must have basic understanding of electrical test equipment (megger, hi-pot, multi-meter, etc…) Must be detail oriented. Must be able to train new employees in accordance with work standards/instructions. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite & basic computer functions.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mechanical/ electrical assembly techniques.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft office.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Must be able to read electrical schematics.
  • Must be able to read pneumatic diagrams.
  • Ability to crimp, perform soldering procedures, assemble wire harnesses, etc.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of the use of hand tools.
  • Must be self-motivated with ability to work independently with no guidance.
  • Must be able to follow written work instructions/procedures.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to change.
  • Must be able to complete task on time.
  • Must be able to collaborate within a team and cross functionally.
  • Must have basic understanding of electrical test equipment (megger, hi-pot, multi-meter, etc…)
  • Must be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing and/or assembly experience preferred.
