Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems, Advanced Weapons in Ridgecrest, CA is currently seeking an Assembler 1 or 2. As an assembler, you will be responsible for interpreting and executing work based on diagrams, engineering drawings, and detailed work instructions to meet stringent customer specifications. This role also includes performing continuity checks, and as needed, disassembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling components. Workmanship Certification: Candidates selected for this role must successfully complete internal workmanship training programs to maintain employment. This position will be for 2nd shift - 2pm-11:30PM. - Shift differential pay is available for this position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
0–2 years of experience in assembly or electronics (for Level 1)
2+ years of assembly/electronics experience OR an Associate degree in an electronic or technical discipline (for Level 2)
Proficient in interpreting written instructions and technical drawings (for Level 2)
Demonstrated ability to meet performance standards in a metric-driven manufacturing environment (for Level 2)
Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (for Level 2)
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
U.S. Citizenship required
