This role involves assembling hardware and components with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality. The assembler will be responsible for documenting work, maintaining traceability, and ensuring quality records are up-to-date. The position requires keeping a clean and organized work area, communicating any production, safety, or quality concerns to a supervisor, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and the Quality Management System (QMS). Teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential. The assembler must ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated and that epoxy, adhesives, prime, and paint are within their shelf life. Proper handling of equipment and parts to prevent damage and adherence to the Foreign Object Debris (FOD) program are also critical. Flexibility is expected, as the assembler may be asked to assist in other departments or perform tasks such as operating machinery, inventory control, cleaning, shipping/receiving, or deburring when work is slow or assistance is needed elsewhere. Awareness of quality policies, procedures, objectives, product conformance, safety, and ethics is required.
