Assembler - Night Shift

About The Position

The Assembler performs manual duties involving placement of parts on an assembly line, checking defined machine specifications, and other related functions. The role follows posted work instructions and Operations Method Sheets, maintains a safe and clean work environment, and may perform non-standard work as directed by a floor leader. Assemblers work at multiple assigned stations or areas, meet training milestones, and may assist in training colleagues. The position is listed as second shift, with 10-hour shifts beginning at 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed; hours and schedule may vary. The starting rate is $19.40 per hour, including a $2 second-shift differential.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
Ability to meet job standards for visual ability, speaking, and hearing in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
