About The Position

The Assembler assembles generator sets and sub-assemblies for standard and non-standard product lines. The role uses hand and power tools and follows quality and procedural techniques. Assemblers perform basic work from instructions, drawings, and schematics in designated areas, identify obvious quality issues, develop product knowledge, adapt to process changes, and assist across assembly areas as needed. The position also requires following safety, environmental, and company procedures and contributing to departmental continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly duties using work instructions, drawings, and schematics in designated work areas.
• Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship, and general quality issues.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and adapt to process changes.
• Cross-train and assist in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow safety, environmental, and company procedures.
• Contribute to departmental continuous improvement.
