Assembler 7 (Custom Door Assembly Operator)
About The Position
Allegion, through its brand Republic Doors and Frames, is a leading U.S. manufacturer of commercial steel doors and related hardware solutions. We are seeking an Assembler for the First Shift to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling steel door components to produce high-quality steel doors that contribute to safety and security. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are eager to learn and grow. While previous manufacturing experience is preferred, comprehensive training and development support will be provided.
Requirements
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to handle complex issues and problems
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass all required drug screen and background checks
- Team player attitude
- Manual dexterity

Responsibilities
- Assembling parts to produce steel doors
- Gathering and preparing parts and tools
- Assembling door components (skins, cores, panels, hardware prep, and related door assemblies) following instructions
- Resolving assembly problems and notifying frontline leader/supervisor for additional resources
- Performing work under minimal supervision
- Handling complex issues and problems
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter
- Providing coaching/mentoring to peers
- Understanding and following directions
- Conducting quality checks on door assemblies
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborating with team members to meet production schedules
