About The Position

Greenheck Group is hiring Assemblers on 1st shift in their Minneapolis, MN location. Assemblers start at $24.15 and will receive an additional $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift. This role involves assembling air handling units according to blueprints and installing components using the SAP program. Requirements

Must be 18+
A stable work history without significant gaps of employment
Basic math, reading, and computer skills
Experience reading a tape measure
Experience reading blueprints
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily
Requires frequent lifting, routing bending, leaning, reaching, kneeling, etc.
Applicant must be able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing, farming, or military is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assemble air handling units per blueprint.
Install all necessary components according to SAP program
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read and understand instructions
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
Ability to understand component functions
Ability to read measuring devices
Ability to safely operate equipment
Ability to identify all parts used during assembly
Ability to maintain paperwork/record keeping
Operate overhead crane/forklift/material handling equipment based on safety guidelines
Perform daily housekeeping tasks
Be adaptable enough to learn the necessary functions in a timely manner and perform them within accepted output and quality levels
Must follow standard safe practices that apply to all activities
Applicants must be able to work overtime as needed.
