We are more than products, we are a team of inspired people doing extraordinary things. Greenheck Group is currently hiring Assemblers on 1st shift in our Minneapolis, MN location. Assemblers start at $24.15 and will receive an additional $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+
  • A stable work history without significant gaps of employment
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Experience reading a tape measure
  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily
  • Requires frequent lifting, routing bending, leaning, reaching, kneeling, etc.
  • Applicant must be able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing, farming, or military is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble air handling units per blueprint.
  • Install all necessary components according to SAP program
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to understand component functions
  • Ability to read measuring devices
  • Ability to safely operate equipment
  • Ability to identify all parts used during assembly
  • Ability to maintain paperwork/record keeping
  • Operate overhead crane/forklift/material handling equipment based on safety guidelines
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks
  • Be adaptable enough to learn the necessary functions in a timely manner and perform them within accepted output and quality levels
  • Must follow standard safe practices that apply to all activities
  • Applicants must be able to work overtime as needed.
