Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required or work–equivalent job experience.
Willingness to obtain Forklift Certification to drive a forklift is required.
Works overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in assembly work is preferred.
Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Operate an overhead crane

Responsibilities

Pull required material to assemble all types of tanks, according to the Schroeder Bill of Materials.
Utilize various tools and equipment to assemble these products to manufacturing specifications.
Test all tanks coming from molding operation.
Trim all tanks after molding operation.
Assemble all required products and inspect material for compliance to manufacturing specifications using the work instructions, work orders, sketches, engineering drawings and instructions.
Use various hand-tools, power-tools (screwdriver and electric drill), torch, taps, and glues for assembling and handling tanks and components.
Inspect final assembly and/or product to ensure quality meets all specifications.
Work in other assembly support functions including but not limited to washing, testing, rotomold, and repairing.
Utilize company-wide computer system to check on stock, access engineering drawings, check on work order status and other job-related manufacturing transactions as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
