About The Position

Assembler/Tester B Full-time Irvine, CA Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants. Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester B You will assemble and test mechanical products to meet customer quality and on-time delivery expectations, contributing to lean initiatives and continuous improvement. You will work primarily onsite on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM, Mon–Fri) in Irvine, CA, collaborating with manufacturing technicians, supervisors, and quality teams to support production schedules.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of general mechanical work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong mechanical reasoning
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
• Ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment
• Basic math, verbal, written, and computer skills
• Ability to stand approximately 50% of the time and lift up to 35 lbs
• Willingness to undergo FAA drug screening and random drug testing where applicable

Nice To Haves

• Background in mechanical assembly such as automotive or aircraft mechanic experience

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment
• Record test results and operate basic electrical equipment and flow meters
• Interpret blueprints, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives to build assemblies that meet product specifications
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting and part cleaning as required
• Participate in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities and suggesting process changes
• Maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area and follow all safety rules
• Ensure equipment calibration is maintained per schedule
