About The Position

Eaton’s Electrical Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Tanker Assembler – 3rd Shift to join our team! The hourly rate starts at $26.20-$27.78/hour, depending on experience + $2.50 shift premium. The core hours are 11pm – 7am, Monday-Friday; Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. This position is based at our Lincoln Avenue facility in Waukesha, WI. This position offers a sign-on bonus of $3,000, less applicable withholding.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one (1) year of electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Locate and move tanks, parts, and covers to the assembly area.
• Assemble bushings and current transformers to cover or tank as specified.
• Mount core and coil in tank and bolts in place, clamp cover in place and makes all electrical connections to bushings, and mount tap changer, switches, current transformers, and vacuum fault interrupters.
• Locate and assemble all accessories, such as oil level gauges, thermometer, pressure-vacuum gauge, pressure relief device, etc. to the tank as specified.
• Check all lead clearances inside unit and assemble needed spacers and or insulating barriers as required.
• Perform resistance testing on small pad-mounted transformers.
• VFI, Load break switches.
• Read and work off of blueprints and schematics.
