Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Able to use & read measuring instruments (i.e.: rulers, gauges, etc.)
  • Must be punctual and reliable; achieves results even when confronted with conflicting responsibilities and limited resources.
  • Must work well with coworkers using both written and verbal communication. Will usually voice their opinions and ideas when problem-solving to formulate the best path forward.
  • Ability to learn, understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains high ethics. Is respectful and honest. Is caring, friendly and willing to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Will be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, kicking or kneeling
  • Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 45 lbs.)
  • Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
  • Must have 20/20 distance vision with or without the use of aids such as glasses or contact lenses.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling and blanking settings.
  • Working on exclusive customer products.
  • Consistently assembling 200-250 quality pieces per 8-hour shift including inspections, cleanup and turning in job with less than 2% defect ratio.
  • Setting up equipment accurately and independently. Adjusting and correcting machine set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.
  • Cross training in multiple jewelry departments.
  • Ensuring that the correct amount of material is ordered, scanning jobs to proper area and box # and ensuring the correct time and weight on each job.
  • Observing all plant safety rules and regulations, wearing proper safety attire at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
