About The Position

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and supports the facility in achieving set production targets by adhering to systems and processes. The role involves using machinery and equipment on the shop floor, and reading/interpreting technical diagrams/instructions for product assembly.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED is required
• Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
• Can work overtime to meet Business Objectives
• Can work a weekend schedule as needed.
• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand various written instructions in English
• Bend, twist & turn in a safe manner
• Lift up to 40 Pounds
• Stand for long periods
• Good hand dexterity
• Strong math skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing experience or quality control experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Understands and follows plant safety and procedures.
• Avoids or prevents hazardous conditions from developing.
• Wears appropriate protective equipment as required, dresses and conducts self in a safe manner.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5S.
• Participates in plant safety objectives.
• Conducts all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performs work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Performs regular quality testing as a part of a defined production process.
• Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
