Compensation $19.00 to $22.00 depending on experience and internal Carestream equity. This range reflects Carestream’s good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position. Position Summary: Do you have at least 2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse, are excellent at assembling, disassembling, packing and following standard work process instructions? This position will require carefully unpacking/dis-assembling parts and equipment. Then packing/re-assembly as per work instructions.

Requirements

  • HS or GED education
  • 2+ years of warehouse, retrieving, unpacking and packing with minimal assembly, etc. preferably for equipment
  • Experience palletizing, using cranes, hand tools such as prybar and cordless drill are highly preferred.
  • Report on time to work, have a strong work ethic, and strong respect for others.
  • Attention to detail and follow standard work instructions perfectly.
  • Must be able to do the physical requirements as noted below.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for carefully packing, unpacking, dis-assembling and re-assembly of parts and equipment.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Comply with cell phones are not permitted on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to build Digital Radiography equipment and associated sub-assemblies within quality requirements.
  • Individual follows written “standard work” processes, accurately records data, and provides input / feedback during team discussions.
  • When engaging with team members, this individual works effectively with others.
  • This individual is reliable and complies with all company / departmental policies & regulations.
  • FDA Audits, 5S, compliance.
  • Operates with direct supervisory support.
