About The Position

The Assembler/Packer I performs a variety of repetitive operations to package Company products prior to shipping, assemble complex components, and install Heli-Coils. This employee must actively promote a teamwork atmosphere and support team development. The Assembler/Packer II ensures quality of parts before forwarding them to next operation/process.

Requirements

High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
3+ years of assembly experience preferred
Must have the ability to install Heli Coils.
Must be willing to pay great attention to detail
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Inspects work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
Uses a variety of tools to assemble parts.
Read, interpret and perform work instructions correctly.
Capable of performing solder operations
Knowledgeable about many assembly techniques and processes. Capable of performing these processes with minimal oversight.
Wrap work pieces in appropriate wrapping/masking materials.
Place wrapped parts in shipping containers.
Responsible for cleanliness of work area and the general housekeeping
Reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Management.
Keeps the supervisor informed of broken or damaged tooling that needs to be replaced.
Other duties as assigned.
