About The Position

Assemble variety of basic shutter styles within established standards for quality and timeliness. May perform pre-assembly responsibilities, including working with Poly based parts. Perform assembly and general manufacturing duties, including initial hand assembly of shutters for hanging, inspection, and adjustment. Make necessary adjustments and re-inspect. Complete the assembly process and perform testing of shutters (quality tests, visual test, function/performance test). Interact with quality specialists to ensure quality guidelines are met. Prepare shutters for packaging and shipment, which may involve pulling shutters into a stacked position, bagging them, or placing them on a cart for packaging, labeling, and shipment. Complete productivity paperwork related to shutter assembly. May work with Engineering on testing new products. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established procedures. Perform minor maintenance on equipment and tools, and interact with Toolroom and Maintenance Departments on equipment and tool repair and development. Follow safety policies and procedures, and attend regularly-scheduled safety meetings. Attend daily huddles and other meetings to ensure smooth communication flow.
