About The Position

The Manufacturing Assembly role in Fremont, CA involves performing various assembly tasks. The ideal candidate has 3 or more years of manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, math and geometry skills, and attention to detail. This role requires the ability to operate a variety of assembly tools, visual acuity, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stair ladders, and lifting up to 50lbs. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential, along with basic computer skills and a working knowledge of an ERP system (Oracle Cloud a plus) and the MS Office suite. Behavioral attributes include strong attention to detail and quality, the ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines, excellent communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and eagerness to learn and adapt to new techniques. The work environment is a manufacturing setting with some exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations, and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with ISO9001 standards.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years in a manufacturing or related work experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operator a variety of assembly tools

  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

  • A.A. degree, Vocational or Technical Training or a combination of the equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough incoming inspection of parts to verify quality and compliance
  • Carefully pack and unpack parts, ensuring they are not damaged
  • Accurately arrange, fit, and assemble components for welding
  • Install and secure filler ribbons as required by welding process and work instructions
  • Handle and stage parts for welding, maintaining their cleanliness and integrity
  • Ensure cleanliness of all parts during handling and assembly
  • Operate hand and power tools and materials
  • Make minor setups of equipment in assigned area
  • Review production data to identify potential areas of non conformance
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, follow schedules, shop instructions or orders, SOPs and any other manufacturing documentation
  • Fit, align, and adjust machines or assemblies to meet required tolerances and product operating requirements
  • Identify deviations that could impact productivity and escalate issues appropriately
  • Work safely and efficiently while following all PPE requirements and participating in safety programs that maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain logs and required documentation using required computer systems
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
