About The Position

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to hire detail-driven Assemblers who are ready to play a hands-on role in producing high-quality aerospace components. In this position, your craftsmanship and focus will directly support products that demand the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. The Production Associate will assemble, inspect, and test products to ensure the highest level of quality for customers. This role supports safe, efficient production operations and participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity. Associates will work in a cleanroom environment and perform detailed assembly using microscopes and small hand tools.

Requirements

  • US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee status
  • Must have physical copy of birth certificate OR unexpired passport/pass card
  • 5 panel drug screen (Checks for Marijuana)
  • 7 years background check
  • Must have English fluency (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Minimum 1+ year of hands on manufacturing/assembly experience (electrical, mechanical, or medical is ideal)
  • Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment wearing full PPE
  • Required PPE includes full body suit, face mask, eye shields, gloves, and anti-static bracelet
  • Must be ok with prolonged microscope use (sitting & standing) while assembling small components.
  • Proficient in PCB Assembly (Printed Circuit Board Assembly)
  • Proficient in Mechanical Assembly Skills

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned production equipment
  • Assemble and test components according to engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Set up, monitor, and change over equipment
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Record, analyze, and report production data
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Support the Honeywell Operating System
  • Comply with all safety rules and procedures
