About The Position

The Assembler’s responsibilities are focused around mechanical box builds and hand soldering per IPC 610. The Assembler will support production activities within a group concentrating on advanced microwave subsystems for applications including missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners and synthesized sources.

Requirements

At least 3 years prior work experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid and/or semiconductor assembly.
Experience with wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach.
Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers and experience working under a microscope.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills are required for this position including ability to complete online training, email, and computerized time-keeping.
Good written and verbal skills and ability to carefully follow written instructions.
Ability to solder small surface mount and through hole parts.
IPC 610 certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform complex assembly tasks involving mechanical, electrical, and electronic components according to detailed work instructions and blueprints.
Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards by conducting thorough inspections and testing throughout the assembly process.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, contributing to continuous process improvements.
