Assembler - Level 2
About The Position
The Assembler Level 2 in the Film Processing Department is critical to the fabrication and testing of resistofilm components utilized in potentiometers. This role involves a variety of processes, including the preparation of the resistive mix, application of carbon and silver mixtures onto Mylar/Kapton sheets or molded substrates through spraying or screen printing, and subsequent curing, cutting, abrading, and testing. - Work with a dedicated team to meet production goals and contribute to manufacturing success
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and test resistofilm components according to established procedures and specifications
- Conduct the chemical composition of the resistive mix
- Apply carbon and silver mixtures onto substrates using appropriate methods (spraying/screen printing)
- Cure the applied films to meet required resistance tolerances
- Cut, abrade, and test the resistive elements using specified equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with clean room protocols
