Assembler - Level 2
About The Position
As an Assembler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in assembling components and products to meet quality and production standards. Your work will directly contribute to the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are built efficiently and accurately to support our business goals. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall production efficiency and product quality, helping Honeywell maintain its reputation for delivering high-quality aerospace components and systems.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in assembly or manufacturing environments, demonstrating ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure precise assembly of components.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and assembly equipment used in aerospace manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, or work orders.
- Candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- Experience working in aerospace or related manufacturing industries.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new assembly techniques.
- Reliability and strong work ethic to meet production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of aerospace components and products according to detailed instructions and specifications.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
