Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.
- At least 2 years of experience with electrical wiring, crimping, and electrical assembly.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, work tickets, and layout drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical components used in control panels and enclosures.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
- Minimum 24 months as an Assembler II
- Maintain a minimum performance rating of 85%
- Must pass Assembler III exam
- Consistent attendance and reliability
Responsibilities
- Assembling electrical enclosures, control panels, and related assemblies across a range of configurations and sub-assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Install and wire electrical components including breakers, relays, contactors, pushbuttons, terminal blocks and current transformers.
- Perform quality at source (QAS) inspections for other peers as required.
- Route and manage wiring inside enclosures.
- Verify work orders, drawings, and BOMs before assembly.
- Size wires for control and power circuits and perform proper crimping and terminations.
- Use shop equipment including drills, saws, crimping tools, and measuring tools.
- Perform self-inspections to support first pass quality.
- Identify drawing issues, missing parts, or assembly problems.
- Assist with troubleshooting and rework when needed.
- Support training of Assembler II employees.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S practices.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate with leads, supervisors, and team members to support production.
- Demonstrate ESL core values in daily work and teamwork.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
