About The Position

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP is seeking an Assembler III to perform repetitive production-line assembly of medical device products such as IV bags. The role involves working at different stations as production needs require and performing varying tasks as different models move along the line. The assembler inspects parts for defects, maintains a clean and orderly work area, and handles finished products and materials. This position works a schedule that includes Saturday and Sunday 12-hour night shifts from 5:45 p.m. to 5:45 a.m., plus two days on the second shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of related experience in manufacturing or industrial companies.
Required license registration.
Must frequently lift and/or move 5 to 25 pounds using Company-provided appropriate safety equipment.
Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Must be able to work Shift E on Saturday and Sunday from 5:45 p.m. to 5:45 a.m., as well as two days on the second shift.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce medical device products such as IV bags.
Ensure operations comply with Company standards.
Place parts in specified relationships to one another and fasten them together.
Work at different workstations as production needs require.
Perform varying online tasks as different models of the same article move along the line.
Inspect each part to ensure the product has zero defects.
Place finished products in the appropriate boxes and stock them until the material handler arrives.
Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band the bundles together.
Remove material samples, label them with identifying information, and take them to the laboratory for analysis when requested.
Keep the work area clean and orderly.
