About The Position

The Assembler III is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for complex and advanced assembly work, process improvement, and technical mentorship. The role helps balance line stations to maintain consistent takt time and serves as a subject-matter expert supporting quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position is accountable for successful outcomes on complex builds and product variants run through the standard line, mentoring and supporting Assembler I and II staff, and contributing to process improvement and build documentation quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–7+ years of progressive assembly experience.
• Advanced ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex build issues.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while using required PPE.

Nice To Haves

• Prototype or new product introduction (NPI) experience.
• Experience contributing to manufacturing process improvements.
• Prior informal leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical assembly across multiple product lines.
• Lead new product introduction and prototype builds, translating them into standard work once proven.
• Identify and resolve non-routine assembly and fitment issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on build improvements.
• Review work for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Mentor and support Assembler I and II employees.
• Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement efforts.
• Help balance line stations to maintain consistent takt time.
