About The Position

This role involves assembling products according to specified processes, working collaboratively in a team environment, and handling electrical components. The assembler will work with various documentation, including instructions, drawings, bills of materials, wire run lists, and electrical schematics. They will perform point-to-point wiring, integrate sub-assemblies, and participate in co-builds with customers and project teams to share knowledge. The position requires effective communication and the ability to work independently or in groups.

Requirements

  • Ability to assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes.
  • Proficiency in using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
  • Ability to work with written instructions, mechanical drawings, bills of materials, wire run lists and electrical schematics.
  • Experience integrating sub-assemblies, electrical panels, chassis, power supplies and connecting cables.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups ranging from 2-8 people.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Positive attitude and ability to support team success.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing co-builds with customers and/or project teams.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to other assemblers.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products per assembly process specifications.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Work in a team environment with a positive attitude and support the success of the team.
  • Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosures.
  • Work with written instructions, mechanical drawings, bills of materials, wire run lists and electrical schematics.
  • Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers.
  • Integrate sub-assemblies, electrical panels, chassis, power supplies and connecting cables.
  • Perform co-builds with customers and/or project teams with limited support to learn new product builds and transfer knowledge to other assemblers.
  • Learn new product builds and transfer knowledge to other assemblers.
  • Work independently and with groups ranging from 2-8 people.
  • Work with Engineering and Quality Control relating to assembly requirements, workmanship standards and customer product specifications.
