Kitting is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. This role involves arranging for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite the flow of materials to meet production schedules. The Assembler II will move totes to tables, checking to ensure all parts are complete, moving parts to shelves, and making copies of paperwork. They will confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes, identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling, and work at different workstations as production needs require. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area and using proper safety equipment and apparel are also key responsibilities. This position may perform other duties as assigned.
