Kitting is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. This role involves arranging for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite the flow of materials to meet production schedules. The Assembler II - Kitting will move totes to tables, check for complete parts, move parts to shelves, and make copies of paperwork. They will also confer with department supervisors to assess progress and discuss needed changes, identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling, and work at different workstations as production needs require. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area and using proper safety equipment are essential. This is an hourly, non-exempt position in the Operations department, reporting to the Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift.
