Kitting is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. This role involves reading and comprehending job orders and bills of materials, arranging for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite the flow of materials to meet production schedules. The Assembler II will also move totes to tables, checking for complete parts, moving parts to shelves, and making copies of paperwork. They will confer with department supervisors to assess progress and discuss needed changes, identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling, and work at different workstations as production needs require. Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area and using proper safety equipment are also key responsibilities. This is a 3rd shift position.
