About The Position

The Assembler I assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts and components, and/or electrical and electronic systems into subassemblies, assemblies, or finished products. Under general supervision, the role assembles components and follows process work instructions and test procedures, while completing and recording documentation to meet quality requirements. The assembler follows production schedules and cycle times, prepares products for shipment, and is responsible for work preparation, setup, cleanup, and the quality of their work and work area. The role is onsite and scheduled Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with overtime. The stated rate is $20.25 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift premium; the position is bonus eligible and includes benefits.

Requirements

Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: Manufacturing experience.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts and components, and/or electrical and electronic systems into subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units.
Assemble subassemblies, manual components, electrical components, and other related components under general supervision.
Follow process work instructions and test procedures; monitor and record documentation to meet quality requirements.
Follow production build rates and schedules and meet required cycle times.
Assemble cartons and containers and prepare products for shipment according to domestic, international, and/or customer specifications.
Use manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices.
Perform setups, work preparation, and cleanup, and ensure the quality of own work and work area.
Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
