About The Position

Under general supervision, the Assembler I assembles components—including sub-assemblies, manual components, electrical components, and related parts—to help complete a variety of products. The role prepares and processes electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines and follows process work instructions and test procedures while monitoring and recording documentation to meet quality requirements. The position is onsite and scheduled for second shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with overtime on two Saturdays per month. The role requires meeting production schedules and overtime requirements, including weekends. Compensation is $20.25 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium; the position is also bonus eligible and includes benefits. Travel is 0%.

Requirements

Ability to lift or carry 10–50 pounds frequently, depending on product line; may rarely lift or carry 50–75 pounds.

Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Assemble components, sub-assemblies, manual components, electrical components, and related parts to contribute to completion of a variety of products.
Prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines.
Follow process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks.
Monitor and record related documentation to meet quality requirements.
Follow production build rates and schedules and meet required cycle times.
Use computers or other electronic devices to interface with manufacturing systems as required.
Use tools and equipment that may include manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices.
Perform set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work area.
Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
