About The Position

Nordson Medical is seeking an experienced and motivated Assembler I to perform secondary operations and assembly work to meet customer needs. The role is part of a team working in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex medical devices and component technologies. The operator is expected to understand assigned work and, after training, work independently with minimal supervision. The position is scheduled for the third shift, Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Compensation is $18 per hour plus a $3 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of measuring inside diameter (ID) and outside diameter (OD).
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, snap gauges, and rulers.
• Ability to understand assigned work and perform it independently with minimal supervision after training.
• Manufacturing experience and ability to operate machinery and multitask when required.
• Ability to read and document required specifications and measurements.
• Experience with manual and computer-based documentation control.
• Familiarity with building industrial electrical panels.
• Ability to communicate in person, in writing, and by telephone with customers and company personnel.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
